The Willcox Meth Task Force (WMTF) was formed by key community members in hopes to prevent the first use of meth. Prevention is achieved by an aggressive education campaign within the Willcox community and its surrounding regions.

As Chief of Staff at Northern Cochise Community Hospital, from 2003 - 2007, Dr. Walker co-founded the WMTF in hopes to educate the community on the effects of meth and to help protect Willcox's youth from starting meth. At that time, she was confronted on a daily basis of the medical aspects of meth's use. Dr. Walker is Residency Trained and Board Certified in Family Practice with an emphasis in pediatrics and addictionology.
